Hey All,
The 42nd Annual Barnegat Bay Decoy & Waterfowl Show is happening this weekend! Saturday 7:00AM-5:00PM Sunday 7:00AM-4:00PM
Weather is looking good, I plan to be at the show with my 14' SeaClass alongside The Duck Boat Company of East Dennis, MA with owner Tom Olsen on Saturday. Swing on by & say hello! We've got some innovative accessories that are new to the market, can be used on a variety of different boats not just TDB's and some plans in the works for the smaller models such as the Scull Boats coming back to popularity and the AA Widgeon! Looking forward to it, definitely a good show for those neat items you don't see in many places all within the heart of NJ Waterfowling. Dick Richardson will also be in attendance for those who know him along with Steve Sanford. The full media documentaries will also be available for sale at Dick's table sponsored by The Long Island Decoy Collectors Assoc. Event season is upon us! I just cleaned off my sewing bench - which is a major accomplishment because my shop had gotten out-of-control over the past year. It seems the older I get, the busier I get. So wish me luck with my soon-to-be-sewn dodger - and I will see you soon!

Steve, I will be sure to bring some cheese Saturday to lure those hungry rodents away from that pristine piece of art!
Also make sure you bring a rain coat....

Looking forward to write ups & pics from show. Jeese , you fellas can,t get a break on events weather forecast. I guess it is so called ducky weather! Bring portable shelters for your displays and weights to hold them down.

As promised, here's an inside look at the 42nd Annual Show for 2024! I was lucky enough to stop by Saturday in-between my work schedule and snap some photos, meet friends both new & old along with picking up some season goodies from some renowned NJ artists. Proud to say my 1999 14' SeaClass Restoration by The Duck Boat Company- East Dennis, MA achieved 1st place!! For the Contemporary Gunning Boat Development Class. Great time for all, even with the wet, soggy start! Another one in the books..Here's a look! Enjoy

Congrats on the ribbon and thank you for taking the time to share your wonderful show photos with us. Clearly a lot of talented artisans are at the show and folks I know I'd love to hang out with and talk duck boats, decoys, and hunting.
