Good evening,

Long time lurker and information collector. I am 33 and in the Sacramento valley of California. I built a hybrid duck boat about 7 or 8 years ago. I hunted out of it religiously. I grew up hunting with my dad out of an Arthur Armstrong Wigeon. Both boats burned up in September of 2020. By October of that year I had 2 more hybrids built. Just as easy doing two as it is 1.

I have plans for an AA Blackjack that I have been hesitant to start but hoping to muster up the courage in the spring.

Anyways I appreciate the info on the forum. Way more information than any social media platform. Duck season is upon us. Good luck this year.

Welcome to our community and thanks for introducing yourself. I've never seen a hybrid up close but they sure get high marks from their owners. I used to live in CA but that was before I started hunting. I've always heard good things about Sac Valley duck hunting. Not too crowded with a healthy wintering pop. A nice combination.
