Question for the TDB or similar owners

I have a 17 TDB and see a lot of pics of fully grassed boats/ blinds weather it’s natural or artificial vegetation.

For those of you that do that and leave the blind up all season in this condition, how far are you trailering and what speeds are you driving?

I’d like to be able to leave the blind up and grassed but worry that highway speeds will tear the grass/blind up. I travel up to 1:15 to the ramps at 60-70mph.

I have a 17’ Classic. I use the Stern Grass purchased around 80lbs of it. I used plastic netting for the under-layer and zip ties for fastening the grass. I’m able to remove the underlayer and roll the grass on / off at seasons close.

I have trailered this boat without any issues 65-70 miles, I also trailer a 14 Sea-Class same setup.

Hello Anthony,
I am also on Long Island and am looking for a 14 Sea-Class to get my kids into hunting. Hardly see any pop up for sale, maybe I'm looking in the wrong places. Any advice on where to look?
Thanks for your time
Eric
