It's not that kind of survey. they are asking hunters input in setting next years regulations, limits, etc. what boggled my mind was their statement that mallard hen limits (in the eastern atlantic flyway) have no impact on mallard populations. i find that hard to believe.

Was surprised to be one of 3,000 to receive the VA waterfowl hunter survey. Was more surprised to read in the intro to one of the questions that "...there is no biological need to be more restrictive on [eastern] hen mallards [in Atlantic flyway] than on drake mallards.

gdod stuff guys. how does one ID a limited slip differential on a used truck. can you look at it an tell. I suspect I'll only get to test drive on the road. Can I tell from the VIN number.

guys, thanks for the info. i didn't even consider chains, that seems like a good in expensive alternative. i definately want 4wd though. not sure what a tow button in the cab is. my trailer doesn't have, or need brakes.

It all depends on what state owns the river. I'm a VA resident but hunt the potomac river which is MD waters. I've often launched in VA to hunt in MD, but never had a CO waiting for me on return. As long as I have my MD license, I'm legal ey.

John, I used 3m 5200 to attach keelsons to a mostly flat fiberglass hull. did it with boat on the trailer. just made up some blocks of wood for wedges. they've been on for about a year. Then i decided to add aluminum strips to the keelsons.

Carl, I use a diehard garden and lawn tractor battery for a 20hp honda. the honda has a built in charger. I think the battery is just a year or year and a half old. never had any problems with it.
