    King Eiders

Speaking of King Eiders... This is one way to harvest a lot of King Eiders. Saw this last week on Deadliest Catch. Craziest thing I ever saw pertaining to ducks. https://youtu.be/RheuCb9q3Sk

    Texas rig question

If using a boat you might even be able to create some sort of rod holder that you could then put the end of the PVC in that would extend the decoys outside the gunnels for transport. Thus leaving more room inside the boat. Just something that I was thinking about when I first saw the Hilrod...

    Texas rig question

Looks like that plan might work. If you do build it make sure you come back and update how you did with pics. I am sure there are others that might like to know if it works out for you.

They would make a lot of poop, but I bet the 19 paychecks from these pups more than make up for it. [;)]

Jacking up a boat trailer on the side of the road

I found something interesting on Facebook that looked like a great idea on trailers that are hauling a lighter load. No extra jacks to bring and just some minor modifications to the trailer itself. https://www.facebook.com/ron.dart1/videos/10216104192032357/

    Boat build recommendations

Sounds like you are possibly wanting a Kara or Kara Robber based on your description. It is very low profile, hides well, and very stable. can be poled, paddled, or use trolling motor if you put a motor mount on it. The Kara Robber is around the size you are wanting but the Kara is just a few...

I belong to many boat building and Duck Boat Facebook Groups. Occasionally someone on those groups will have questions about duck boats or building duck boats so I send them this way.
