Wood floor in a pole barn idea

I only have need of the concrete floor in the section I would use for welding and fabrication and working on my truck. I'm in southern NJ in Atlantic county. I will check with the code enforcement but this project will be done is stages. I like the wood floor for running electrical and dust...

Wood floor in a pole barn idea

So I am looking at putting up a pole barn. It's mostly for all things hunting but I also would like to have the ability to put boats inside for maintenance and other tasks. I would like a wood floor in the part of the shop. My thought was to have the concrete step down 4 1/4 inches and frame a...

    I Need A Vehicle Change...

With my brothers shop if they want to take a vehicle that's not "road worthy" he has them sign a hold harmless type agreement. I would keep that truck as the daily driver and look for a new woods truck.

    Sneakboat Dilemma

This is a 17' boat that I hunt it's one my garveys. I know it's big but it hides well in the right spots most important it's not 4' high. I've killed a lot of black ducks in it. I have been busted in it also. Nice in bitter cold and it's nice for the dog to warm up in a heater. It won't hide...

    Sneakboat Dilemma

Well Noah I think every boat has give and take in the salt marsh. I hunt from a coffin box built to the specifications of Mr. Sanford who has a web site to build your own. As far as a boat goes many good options the number one thing I believe in NJ is a fully grassed boat. I mean a boat that...

    Cedar "Gunning Garvey" Builder Info?

How wide is it ? I am friends with the Adams family they live in port republic. Their great grandson Dean is a little younger than me he's a great guy. I live in south Jersey and if it's a 48" wide version I would love to take a look at it. I would also buy it if we can come to an agreement.

Waterfowl hunter numbers on the decline in both the U.S. and Canada

I also would like to say that we now have developments everywhere in NJ with a retention pond hooked to each one. They are always loaded with ducks creating mini refuges dotted all down the coast. I have even seen black ducks or hybrids potentially being fed by human hands.

    River running in small boats....

Well I have not used the other brands. But the PPF has a very short 55" shaft. I also like the backwater. Backwater would allow a larger motor if you choose. I also lint that the PPF is made here in the USA and you can buy any part from the guy and get him on the phone. I made my own but I...

    River running in small boats....

I would use a PPF wood duck mud motor. If you wanted an outboard you could try a on the fly jackplate.
