free to a good home- Size 13 Stout Banded insulated chest waders- max 5 camo, I think. Anyway, thanks to a change in lifestyle, I am no longer stout and would like to pass these on. You pay the shipping and they are yours.
Matt- I had the Columbia version of that hat and the same coat- hard to sneak in it- I tore about the three days into owning it. It had certain very limited times when it was the greatest coat ever.
ditto. My best friend is on his second and terrific hunters and pals.
Wassokeag Retrievers in Dixmont Maine have wonderful tollers.
I am looking at either a Golden from Adirondac or a toller in the next year. My first dog was a sunfire golden- she was wonderful.
AWS- my aws GUS was not always the best citizen ( he liked to eat woodcock) but he could retrieve and was exceptionally entertaining. He also used to eat my neighbor's chickens on occasion, but a cigar and a mallard breast or whistler pate would smoot the consumed feathers.
They can be spectacular. The classic Champlain hunt is for whistlers from the rocky shore. There are also good numbers of puddle ducks, canadas and snows. The snows tend to stay around the refuge in Addison, just east of the lake.
I have never hunted the New York side, only VT. VT is tough...
That will work great south of the bridge and in more sheltered areas- you have to be very careful on the broad lake with a flat bottom boat. I hunted Champlain extensively north and south of the (old) bridge from 1986-2003. I 've been a couple of times in the past three years as well. It can...
I did not hunt a single day in 2019- no time, boat issues, new girlfriend, work, you name it. I have already hunted 4 days in 2020 though. Good luck getting back in the game Carl.
Interesting point. My boat also has oar locks ( would want to row it very far). I have tow rope, leatherman, small hammer, spare spark plugs and drain plugs, flares, fire extinguisher on the boat. I also put on my SOSpenders and clip my floating waterproof VHF to the strap when under way.
Jeff- I have a pole that was on my other boat. There is a bench that runs across the stern that will be the poling platform. I also envision a casting platform in place of the bow seat with a stripping basket mounted to the gunnel on the front of the cockpit. Also, the trolling motor will be...

Cool, now I really have a relic! I have not hunted out of the newer boats, but as mentioned, I have hunted extensively our of TDB 14 and 17, both in the salt and on Champlain and the Chesapeake is far superior in my opinion. Thanks for the info.
I am going to try and get one more day in at...
