    Working decoy November

They are white cedar. I have a good number of foamers too, but no photos of them. Keep saying I am going to make more foamers but the thought of the foam dust always stops me :) I would much rather smell cedar.

Steve, my sn is in the exact same place. also, have questions about where to get misc hardware pieces that are missing or at least hard plastic that I can make them from. (ie the little piece of plastic that the front bar of the blind slides into) If i am going to do a refresh on the boat...

    AA Broadbill

Steve, the SN on mine is on the starboard side of the transom. I have not located another one but I have not really looked everywhere. I did mount my 25hp on it today and noticed that the transom will flex a little when I push on the motor. A little concerned that the transom is not as good...

yea, the trailer is a bit IFFY. has new tires but was not sure it would make it home based on the overall condition. I am going to be asking restoration questions once I get into the boat in the spring and have had a chance to check it out during hunting season this year. Have some thoughts...

Outdoor classroom project - Advice needed

sounds like she is going with wooden boxes and the rubberized RZ paint. Wants the kids to have an active role in making it.

Outdoor classroom project - Advice needed

the totes might work, the boxes are 18" x 24" (don't know depth) and are going to be connected with rain gutters. The RV roofing paint may also be a good idea as I know she wants to have the kids involved in the process. I think the reason for the "wood" is one of the dad's is a cabinet maker...

    22 caliber dummy launchers

Mine must be even older, it just came with a little crowbar tool to do it. May sound like common sense for this board but I found a good cleaning / scrubbing with my .22 brass cleaning brush helped a lot with them not getting as stuck

my waders have a waterproof pocket built into them, just inside the top edge. it is a bit of a pain to get the phone out in time to answer a call but it keeps the phone on me and out of the way.
