    Milwaukee transfer stick pump

I dont know if any one else has tried this but it is the handiest tool to come along and use for duck hunting in a long time. It is a bilge pump mounted on a stick operated by a 12 volt cordless tool battery. I've used mine to pump out pits and boats and then attached a small length of hose to...

It was lost for a whole year in the timber due to high water When i found the boat it had some damage to the sheer line so i cut it down to 10 inches and turned it into a really big pirogue...

What's on your workbench? August 2023

Hi Steve, the epoxy is from u. s. composites . Its the 3 to one mix with medium hardener. The cloth is a 1208 biaxial which has a cloth and mat bonded together as one piece. Ive been using it quite often and am pleased with the results. Its good for repairs as well.

What's on your workbench? August 2023

Working on some 72s and some decoys unlimited field decoys . Most of the birds are done as a favor for a hunting buddy. on the bench is my paint wheel that acts as a lazy susan so i don't have to get up and move birds around. That's Ranger keeping me company.

    Fiberglassing

Glass the boat without the keel in place. Attach the keel with fasteners from inside. Use a bedding compound as well. I would double the layer of glass in this area as it takes most of the abuse. On top of that keel use brass or aluminum half round. High density polyethylene is a third choice.

    Two-Tier Bag Limits Coming?

Seems like if one guy in your crew has a 3 bird license , it's an insurance policy against an oops bird. In the old point system there was a lot of reshuffling the deck. I'm not advocating doing that but just trying to expose some potential flaws.
