    airbrush help

I use An Iwata Neo with a .5 tip. I'm painting high flow golden acrylics and it does good for what I do but if I was doing a bunch of whole body painting I would want a bigger opening. When it comes to using rust oleum paint I would go with Dons advice since he is accustomed to that style of...

    Wood for decoys

I believe 3M has done that with some products where they don't patent them so that it's not public knowledge of their formula and process. I think @Mark W worked for them and could attest to that. Found where it was talked about: Post in thread 'The time has arrived '...

    Newest double ender

So Jode, how many rail boats does this make that you own now? Can you post all picture of each one so we can appreciate the full arsenal.

    HIP question

It might depend on the system. Like for my boys it automatically removes the option to add HIP to their licenses. So even if they wanted to participate I can't add it

    HIP question

Yes they are both under 16. Just seems odd especially with such a push to try and get youth involved with hunting and especially with dove hunting as it's fun and easy for kids. I just would think they would be included in it if they had their own license. I mean don't they require a duck stamp...

    HIP question

I am hoping @Brad Bortner can comment on this. I was getting licenses and everything for my family today and I discovered that my kids are not eligible to have a HIP certification but are still allowed to hunt migratory birds. Why is that? Doesn't that skew the results and purpose of the HIP...

Live Trap Skunk Removal - NDR

My wife came home one day and wanted to know why there was a square cut out of the living room window screen (it was cut three sides so it would flap down and then close back up). Pellet guns can work swell on the starling and English sparrows that land on the barn power line.

    George Williams

I always enjoyed the decoy Jedi master when he would have his work posted. I never had the privilege of meeting in person but I will miss his many contributions he gave to the community.

Potential new rule for limits in MN

that's funny, it's actually one of the reasons I have taken more to deer hunting the last few years.

    Rollover Boat

I watched a documentary years ago of people doing that on the Mississippi River. They would paint the bottom of the boat to look like a log.

Potential new rule for limits in MN

Along with what others have said where while the participant numbers have declined, the share of the pie has declined more rapidly. Between land being posted, leased by outfitters, developed, or just maintained poorly as in places Eric talks about there is a squeeze on huntable areas. Another...

You are correct where the vertical rings will be stronger for the neck versus horizontal rings.

    Draw knife and spoke shave

Might could see if @patrick mccarthy could make you one as well. He has made quite a few in the past that you can see pictures of some he made if you search "spakeshave"

    Wood for decoy heads

Quarter or flat sawn will be fine as long as the grain direction is as parallel as possible to bill direction unless you make long necks and would need to have two separate pieces; one for the neck and one for the head. Do you have a head pattern you are wanting to use? Use that to determine...

    An Ugly Fix or Not

Eric, you might could contact some primitive archery suppliers to see if they have any Osage that would fit your dimensions. https://www.osageorange.com/osage-orange-staves-and-billets/

I grew up farming and honestly this is one of the myths about what is grown. A high percentage of crops are not necessarily for food security as it goes to biofuels, bio-plastics, and other products that are not consumed. Farming is one of the heaviest subsidized industries as well and would...

    Drain Tile Setback

I submitted my remark as soon as BHA sent me an email. It would be a travesty for them to change this and I hope there is enough opposition to this idea. I hope even organizations like Audubon should be encouraging their members to oppose this.
