Just thought i would check on the Pattern Book . Did they come in ?

I have carved a decoy for my girlfreind and i sealed it with spar varnish and used acrylic paints and sprayed it with testors dull coat and she wonderd if she displayed it in a spot that the sun would hit it would it fade the paint . Could someone help me out with that i have no clue ?

This is my proud son Cody with his first shotgun for hunting . A 20ga Charles Daily , he has a 410 that he has bean shooting but he will be able to Turkey hunt this spring and Duck hunt this fall . Cant wait dont now who was more excited me our him .

Well i have gotten to the fine tuning stage of my first decoy .I have done the body out of cork and the head out of basswood . I need to clean it up a little then a keel ,not to sure how i'm going to keel it ,never done it .And seal it and paint what do i use to seal it and how do you add a keel...

My wife and i went out looking around today and these were a few of the things we found.

This decoy stuff gets in your blood like boats .This is one of 5 cans i did .Lou has been a big help pointing me in the right direction .I have just received my cork block and grinder and cant wait to try to carve a Duck .? It will be interesting .

Our new Lab is 12 weeks old now . We had him to the vet tonight ,25 pds already ! I beleive he will be a 100 pounder . The Black in the pic is my 4yr old Merc . Teake the new red is doing great , Fetching to hand every time 5 times a night and has got sit down pretty good.

I want to go back out to maine this comeing fall and since Bill Wasson is not guideing anymore and has no suggestions , can someone point me in the right direction . Thank you .
