    A few from Westlake...

It's tough sometimes, with an antsy kid in tow, to really browse like you want to, but I did manage to snap a few photos while I was there on Saturday. Keith... was going to stop and chat, but you had quite the crowd around, so I opted to snap a few pics and let you do your thing...

    Harlequins in Chicago...

A buddy shot one out on Erie two seasons ago.. an immature drake. That's the only one that I've heard of killed around these parts of Ohio.

    Pride and joy...

Congrats to your daughter, Pat. After spending 20 years in a kitchen, I made a move to the supplier side of chefs, working for a sustainable farm that supplies specialty produce to many of the top chefs across the country (and internationally). We've sent some goodies to Kendall College in the...

    Show us your first decoy

As much as I'd like to show you my first bird, a bull Can made from Willy's kit, it was given as a gift, along with a couple bottles of cheap wine, to a guy that did some boiler work for me. Nothing worse than your heat going out on one of the coldest days of the year.. .a holiday. That #1 can...

    Interesting Band Information

Nice Southern James Bay honker, Gary. There are always quite a few orange collars killed here in Ohio. Most of the goose bands I've harvested are local bandings, though I have a couple from up North. Of the four duck bands, only one was shot near its banding location... a Jack Miner mallard...

    Interesting Band Information

This one traveled a heck of a long way! Banded on 06/08/09 .... harvested 09/05/09, about 4 miles from the banding location. lol

    A Few more ...

Great looking Stickbills, Tom. You need one in the rig, riding the upside down bicycle, since that one dead bird, feet in the air, seems to pull all other incoming mergs.

    Alright bird gurus....ID HELP

I think I'd have to agree with Rick, too. Love watching Indian Runners... funny birds when they're getting wrangled up by a Border Collie.
