With all the great help, i have the canvas prepped and primed- so- what is the classic color? the color on the boat was a yellow hue of O.D. and i think it had faded a lot, so any help!! she is swelled to the point that only one small drip. I plan on letting her sit for another day and bail...

i was speaking of joppa flats area-

it is the same!! you can hunt right under any private island or bank- as long as your in tidal water!! have fun!! cashman is a launch and there is a small launch near the plum island bridge-

the canvas is 100% intact!! and the aft area is flaking - so as she swells on the early fall heat- i will wait till the canvas dries out and use a dull scraper- i thought about making a scraper from pine do it would not hurt the canvas-- thanks!! will post pics- when i sort out how to!!

Hello- i bought a 1930s Joppa Flats scull boat- its mint!! well- i should say it needs paint, and the whole top of the boat is canvas covered, how do i remove the old paint and NOT hurt the canvas? thank you much!! I hope to use her this fall- Pictures to follow!!

the state ramp is a great place and joppa flats is a wonderful place!! not all private- lots of area to hunt and the flats are storied!!

i have a 1960s joppa flats and a 1950s whitney- two very different styles but in there own element they work - the joppa is great for salt marsh and small bays and the whitney is great in big water- i use a small outboard on the joppa- but row the whitney- i had the whitney restored-

Hello- Does anyone have and hunt with a AWS? I am thinking about getting one- how well do they hunt? do the hunt ducks as well as upland? how are they in the house? any breeders you would recomend or stay away from? i like the size- and the coat- i would want a started dog- Regards-
