we got a puppy this summer. her favorite place to hang out is in the boat, which is between the woodpile and the shop. well, she figured how to climb the woodpile and get in the boat. of all the things she could have chewed on, she decided to chew on the kill switch of my 95 johnson tiller handle.
so the key barely holds the nipple out ont he switch. does anyone have any experience replacing or relocating the kill switch on these types of motors. the local marine shop said a oem replacement switch is $100.

Same thing happen to mine . You have to buy the whole( $100 ) part. Easy to replace 3 screws and a splice of the wires.
The screws may give you a problem though.
