I have for sale a classic Scott Atwater Motor. I bought it back when I was in college to run on my scanoe. I bought it from a small local dealer (can't remember whom). I haven't run it in close to 3 years. It still turns over and all the knobs turn and I can hear them moving something inside but I didn't want to try to start it up incase it needed something done first. I don't really know anything about it and I can't figure out how to open up the hood either. Figured someone else could put it to better use and/or treat it nicer then sitting in the corner of the garage.

Located in Columbus, WI zip-53925 (About a half hour north of Madison, WI). If you deal with figuring out how to ship it and pay the cost I will try to work it out but would rather have it picked up. I will be driving through Iowa (La Mars) for a wedding in two weeks.

I am not in the market,

I had an old 5 hp Scott Atwater not too different than that one.

I sold it to a nationally-ranked hydroplane racer.

A year later, it was pushing his little raceboat about forty miles an hour.

There is a market for them.
