It was a rainy weekend, but still a good one.

We start out the morning loaded up like we're headed down the Ho Chi Min Trail

Fred, I'm sure you'd laugh that we were going to the parade if you saw Mike and my Black Dog dressed up in their waterproof lighted collars that we bought so we could see them on the dikes at night. Plus with the trailer behind the bike occassionally....it would be a parade..... although we have gotten a lot of "aliens have landed" comments about our lit up dogs....we even heard while we were sitting on the dike waiting til the right time to head to our spot, Steve and I were sitting there, headlights off but the boys both had their collars on still. Someone down the dike said WHOA DUUUUDE...there's a couple of DWARVES hunting out here today!

Ira...Steve says hello to you. I hear "Ira" stories a lot when we're out hunting...they're fun to listen to and Steve loves telling them.

One more weekend to go of ducks.....and it's been an outstanding season...
