My waterfowling partner sent me this photo from his hide on this lake in Northwestern Lower Michigan, probably the only expanse of marshland left on the water body dotted with multi-million dollar homes. The message accompanying the photo stated that he was pulling decoys fifteen minutes into shooting time to head home and join hid wife on a drive down to Chicago to witness the birth of their grandchild...
As I looked at the photo, I realized that it was a pictoral metaphor for the event he and Linda were traveling to witness...Good luck, Kira!
