I have a 14ft AA BroadBill. I started to replace transom a couple of years ago. But do to job and money situation it got put outside under a tarp. Anyway last hurricain destroyed the top half of boat. Busted into many pieces not worth saving how ever the bottom half is fine.My question is can I fill the lower half with closed cell foam then glass over it to make it seaworthy. I now work for a spray foam company so I can get foam for myself cheap. When I said top half is gone I mean it blew off then big tree fell on it . Or should I junk it?

If its worth it or not depends on you. Somethims you can buy another seaworthy boat for cheaper then fixing the one you have. You need to ask your self do I like this boat enough to dump money into it? Is this a boat I can see myself keeping and using for a while? With the BBSB I just finished rebuilding I could have bought a newer boat and done a lot less work for a lot less money. I chose to rebuild an Older one. I liked the boat enough to spend the money to fix it. Now I have a great boat that's in like new conditiion that will Last me years to come. Also some pictures of the boat would help others give advice and what to do. If you choose to fix her up you are on the Right site. I got loads of help and great advice along the way with my rebuild. Good luck with what you choose to do.

Ben,send some pics of it,many good repairmen and women on this site, I would need to see it before I would file it. Post some pics.Brian
