Dave,

Wilamina arrived today while I was out cutting firewood. Judy signed for the package and handed it to me as soon as I got back to the house.

The only problem now is to try and keep Wilbur away from her until Woodrow arrives next month.........and it ain't gonna be easy......she's a beauty! I think Woodrow will be anxious to see her too.

I think Wilbur might just win her over before Woodrow arrives. He's a good looking gent, and she's a lonely little lady.

She's yours now anyway.....MERRY CHRISTMAS MR. PARKS!!

Have a good one and treat her well. She deserves to live in a woody rich place like your ponds.

I thought you were just sending her out to finish up the season with Woodrow. I very much appreciate your generosity Dave. Judy thinks she's the nicest looking hen woody she's seen and so do I.

Wilamina will find herself a good home here in "Woody Haven". Infact she went into the pond this morning to join Wilbur until Woodrow gets here next month. You should have seen the smile that came over Wilbur's face!

I'll get some photo's of her and Wilber soon and post them. This evening I saw 6 woodies picth into the pond, so you can be assured she's certainly doing her part.

I'm flattered that you two think that....She's my first hen.

She was originally just gonna visit, but she called when she arrived and told me how beautiful it is out there. I couldn't make her come back could I?

Blake you're always welcome to come up and give our birds a try. Have a Merry Christmas and enjoy the rest of your season. If a flawless brant or two fall tomorrow it will be headed your way. I've been carrying that band around on my key chain for a year now and it might just look better on a mount.
