Brian,

That's too nice. I can't imagine how bad you're going to feel when you get your first big scratch in that showroom paint job. I know how I felt and my paint job wasn't nearly as nice as yours.

Can't wait to see it in August.

Doing some more air-brushing/stenciling. I couldn't find the stencils that I wanted at Bass Pro, Cabela's or Gander Mountain, so my wife designed the patterns, drew them on blank stencils, and cut them out for me. So far they are working. Spray adhesive makes a huge difference.
Nice job Brian. What kind of material did she use? I have used poster board several times and always had good luck with it.

Hi Howard,

She used "Stencil Decor" blank plastic/mylar stencil material from a craft store down here called Michael's. Each piece is 12"x18" and there are 3 in a pack. She alwo got me some spray-on stencil adhesive which I highly recommend.

Brian, Do you have pictures of your gas tank and battery set up? How about a schematic for the electric, its getting warmer here and I should be able to start again soon. You have done a GREAT job on her and I wish you luck with the launch..........PS, Dull the paint down a little, seems a bit shiney. Tell tour wife that she has done a beautiful job with those stencils. I wish we could all get together for a Devlin Hunt this fall, I am sure we would have a BLAST..........

Charlie,I will take some pics of them this evening and post, iwill be getting some different clear to put on,the first coat just did not turn out dull enough,Im up for the Devlin hunt!! Thanks for the responce Brian Rippelmeyer

looks great! When I painted my Ducker I made a stencil out of lanolium flooring. It was free and cut very easily with a utility knife.
