Benelli's Duck Commander....

I just watched what I would assume is the first episode. Think what you want about Phil but regardless of your stance this is one of the most enjoyable 30 minutes of outdoor related programming you'll ever see. Fantastic!

when they made that idiot their clothing spokesman.....

Looks like the Benelli's I have will be the last Benelli's I ever own given their support of the tool....

Its o.k. if you love him Jay...heck there's never been any accounting for taste.....and heck I ever know a guy who is perfectly healthy that scehdules a quarterly colonoscopy cause he thinks they are "so much fun"....

Steve

Like I said, even if you don't like the guy this show was very entertaining. This episode had virtually no hunting...just a family history which I found entertaining.

I will never buy a post M1 or SBE1 Benelli either by the way and that opinion came way before Phil did.

[font=Verdana,Arial,Helvetica]"Its o.k. if you love him Jay"....c'mon, I never said I loved him. I used to hate him as much or more than you. The difference between Phil and all the new wannabe Phils is at least he's not posing.

or "RNWT Goes TO CHURCH" or the old standby "RNWT CHOOSES DUCK HUNTING AND GOD OVER PRO FOOTBALL" is "entertaining" to you then I'm sure it will be a success....cause Lord knows there were already THOUSANDS UPON THOUSANDS that thought the guy was second only to the Lord Himself.....hopefully in the future episodes he'll contine to entertain and amuse with such antics as crushing the heads of ducks in his mouth, slow motion baccy spitting contests, and regaling the masses on how he never washes his hunting clothes....mmmmmm mmmmm......

Wasn't talking about USED on the Benelli's.....I was taking about ANY Benelli, (used or new--and I really was looking hard at a 20 ga M2, as long as they sponser him.

Steve

All I wanted to convey was that it was an entertaining program. It was MILES better than anything I've watched of his and better than most of the shows I've seen on TV. That's all. Lots of people like him apparently. You may recall that several years ago when you went into a diatribe about him I was nearly as disgusted as you.

I've also seen very interesting programs that I'd recommend on Hitler, Saddam Hussein and tapeworms but I'm not necessarily supporting them either. It was just a well produced, well written...well conceived television show. I almost changed it when I saw that Benelli was a sponsor but forced myself to watch.

Now, that is an interesting way to put it into perspective!!!!

a days worth of enema's followed by a deep cavity camera insertion "entertaining", "interesting", and "well directed".....

Unlike him, I don't....and unlike you, I find nothing that includes the DC entertaining.....

So not surprisingly we disagree......

So, we agree to disagree?

So, about those Benelli shotguns....from everything I'm reading and hearing on the street the Vinci seems to be an epic flop! Gosh, I wonder why it would be...I mean you have a terrible economy and just about everybody has at least one decent hunting shotgun and you introduce a deviant "ray gun" of a shotgun that costs damn nears $1500? I just don't understand why it wouldn't sell like hotcakes. What a mystery.

Please Steve tell us how you really feel.........LMAO
I too thought is was very entertaining but I dont know anything about him except for what I saw on the show

best

You want to see entertaining, get a few beers into Steve and put a 5 pound lobster and 2 pounds of mussels and clams in front of him. That's a good show!

I don't much care for the DC, and I go to church regularly and have been known to chew baccy and do some spittin. His shows can be a good time though. Take them for what they are worth.

A couple years ago you could get Phil's autographed picture at the Oregon Waterfowl Festival, for a mere $10. No thanks. I saw him once outside his booth. He was speed walking. I assume, so no one could take a picture of him, since he was selling them, conveinently. But,he did have a pretty good line when he was signing the photos he sold.

He's not a duck caller anyway, he's a self proclaimed duck killer.

I hate to sound like a 'hater' but I just don't think I could watch it. A couple things about him just rub me the wrong way.
I turn the channel when his "BOOM BOOM BOOM" commercials come on.

btw Jay do you have a brother who will now come on here and threaten us if we don't leave you alone?

Tim

Yeah....the "boom boom boom" commercials suck. I don't know a single person that likes them.

I lost you on the brother thing....my brains fried from taking care of the "Destructo Twins" this evening.

We get absolutely ZERO television here, and I haven't seen the show. I did look up on YouTube and found the "teaser". The one thing that sticks out in my head after watching it is what the hell is the deal with that guy in the Colonel Sanders suit walking down the road petting that duck?

That's Willie...they call him Boss Hawg. He's the son that runs the business...it's a joke. Lots of jokes.

I thought kids were suppose to keep you young? ;-)
As I remember it when the great DC battle happened here the brother of one of the strongest supporters came on to 'defend' his sibling. It's been a while so maybe my memory isn't exactly right.

Tim

most northerners dont understand southern boys...thats fine with me, we can have all the fun to ourselves...lol i like duck commanders, entertaining, and yes, phil lives up to the title "duck killer".
