Boat Blind by: Take Em.com

I have been torn over what type of blind to build on my 16ft Fiberglass Flatbottom. I finally settled on a fixed blind rather than a scissor style blind. The video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ZJqmeI-lzk by TakeEm.com has an outstanding blind setup. The only thing about it that i dont like is the height. Its very low profile which is great but the guys actually hunt sitting on the bottom of the boat. Im just not going to sit down on the floor of the boat all day to hunt. Anyways does anyone have any familiarity with this blind or something very similar. we have someone to do all the bending welding, etc. i would just like a more detailed version of how they set this blind up specifically how the blind is supported around the gunnels. thanks for any help

Dave,
I own an Express and have looked at that video a few times. I like the low profile a lot. We have hunted out of my boat off the floor and it is very effective on weary birds to keep low. If that is not an option then go a little higher. Most boats have a flange at the gunnel and you just attach to that with a flat or box tube, screwed down thru. Seal it with 5200 or silicone to keep the water out.
