Boat Flooring???

Can anyone tell me what kind of flooring this is and where I can get some?

Anti-fatigue matting and I get mine at Home Depot. Its very heavy but helps water and mud drain. Ice builds up a little in the holes but not too bad if you keep the dog in the motor well.

Yup, that's what I put on the front of my aluminum jon boat to keep the dog from laying on cold metal. I bought it in black.

Mr. VanDe Woestyne.... I am very courious where you got the picture ?
Brad B. ...keep the dog in the motor well.... I would like to understand this a little better can you fill me in. Thank you .

I put some anti-fatigue flooring in my AA widgeon this year. It does not have the dimples or holes in it, but it sure is comfortable for both me and the dog. It is closed cell foam so it won't absorb water, and has a jigsaw pattern on 3 sides so it can be mated with other pieces and won't move once you put it together. I got gray, it's pretty much covered up when you're in the boat and gets a muddy tinge anyway after a couple of trips. Bought it at Lowes for $15-20.

I put hydro turf from Gator Trax in my Goliath 2 years ago and LOVE IT.

I had the black anti fatigue stuff for a few seasons too, but wanted to try something different.

It has a 3m backing on it and whie I've put a few holes in it from rough use, it's holding up well.

Like Dave I have hydroturf in the cockpit of my Bankes. It didn't stick really well on the textured fiberglass deck so I have the anti-fatigue mats too. Makes for a nice cushioned deck that is easy on the knees and legs.

Yep, my dog likes to ride and hunt out of the motorwell. Keeps the water out of the cockpit and he can see the action.

I purchased 3 indoor/outdoor floor mats at Staples... and cut them to size... they are made out of a light rubber... you've seen these mats a million times when you walk into office buildings, etc...

Anyway, they are very light, cheap, rugged, easy to remove, install, custom fit (with a razor) and they are cushioned and comfortable. Would highly recommend this solution.

Restaurant stores will sell that anti-fatigue, anti-slip flooring too.
Its heavy stuff though.
