well i finally started some bouy birds(thanks to sutton for the how to). ill attach a pic of the first 7 prototypes. 7 down, 63 TO GO! i can crank out about 4 per hour not including paint. there alot of fun to make and they weigh next to nothing. i figure i can fit about 2,000 of them in the boat!! just thought id post these for those interested.
best, mark

What the heck is up with that Catdog coot at the bottom? If that is what they look like there it's no wonder people won't eat coots in some areas. :)
btw They do look good.

Ouch! Just blew a load of Diet Mountain Dew thru my nose when I read the "Catdog" comment then saw the picture

Hi Mark-

Where did you get the bouys? I finished a scoter from one I picked up the last time in Maine that turned out pretty well.

Still making canvas birds? Would love to get a king eider from you yet!

Cory

Do tell... How do I get info on making those? They would come in handy on Guntersville in Alabama. Do you have patterns? Please let me know.
