I recieved an email confirming my order for waders and it stated I would have my order on September 7th. That's fine I thought to myself. I'll have them for teal season. I just got an email confrming they were shipped. I thought to myself lets check the tracking number just for kicks. Come to find out they're out for delivery.....woo hoo...I'm going to have them for goose hunting in the morning!!!

Let the fun begin! Those that get to hunt tomorrow good luck and be safe!

The only time I didn't get 2 or 3 day delivery from them was when I spent the extra money to get stuff quick...every frickin time! I tell the girl taking the order that the cheap 5-7 day rate is fine and I get it in 2 or 3 days....pay for 1-3 day and it takes a week..whats up with that?

I thought I was the only one that happened to. I made two orders on the same day because I needed one thing in particular delivered ASAP. I didn't want to pay for the 1-3 day for everything. The 5-7 order got to my house a day before the other order.

Before ordering my camera,I checked the photo sites. This seems to be a common problem. Express delivery is slower than the Brown truck.

I Had that discussion with Cabelas last month. They said eight days.I asked," if it was because the horses were slower than they
were 100 years ago"?Same with the mail. They said, and it took 8 days to send a 2lb paackage from SC to OR.Used to get packages from my Dad,when I was in Korea 54 years ago that only took 3 days, and no jet planes were available to haul mail. What a Contry.

Hey Joe,

Like you said, I held the waders up in front of me and the damn things came up to my chest. The wife was laughing and I thought I was going to have to send them back. Then I put them on and son of a gun if they didn't fit. Nice and light. I hope they hold up.

A bunch of decoys I ordered from Cabela's were on back-order for another 2 weeks and they showed up today....so they'll be broken in on opening day.

Whats up with this early season waterfowl hunting? I thought Montana opened early but our season won't start until the last Saturday in September. Man I'm jealous.

Early nuisance goose season John. We get 15 days in Michigan with a 3 bird limit to try and control thes damn Gigantis Canadansis that a 5 a day season had no effect on. The only thing that came close enough to shoot at today was a Cornamint.....Lifted the shotgun and said BANG and my grandson said "you scared the crap out of me..my heart is pounding....man this is fun". It was a fun day.

Ed,you must have a smaller foot than me,or your 6'2".Mine came half way to my chest, after I put them on.Size 13.Be trying them soon on pond/goflcourse honkers.

Lee,glad you had a good day with your grandson. The geese will cooperate soon.

Joe,

Naw...I wear a size 9. The description says 30"-32" inseam but I swear they start measuring from the top of the boot. Anyway, they fit fine. It's all good except for the geese. We have so much water everywhere the geese aren't participating with the annual early season. So doves 0, geese, 0. The jet ski's are coming out now so I'll try it again in the morning.

Wiz,

I looked at the La Crosse line but couldn't find what I was looking for....;-)

Actually I highly recommend these waders. I was in the islands both Sunday and Monday. These waders were comfortable and dry. As hot as it was this weekend I'd have died in my neoprene waders.
