Camo Dipping or Cerakote?

Hi:
I am thinking about having the gun dipped at the end of the season. Does anyone have an opinion of weather to coat with Cerakote or Camo dip? Does anyone have a good outfit to do this type of work?

Thanks

Stern

Got my Benelli cerakoted and hydro dipped this year, highly recommend it. Very easy to clean after being covered with mud and zero rust from salt hunting. A family friend of ours owns a this company where I got mine done.

What did it cost you?
I am going to apply the Mossy Oak sticker kit for the season and then get in coated and dipped in Feb.

check out this place. they do great work and are nice to deal with. i believe they invented the process too..... http://www.tarjac.com/

Not sure what his regular prices are so I will not say what I paid for Connor's gun. Just give them a call. If you go with anyone make sure they are certified to apply the cerakote I have had friends who had work done by shops that where not certified and they where very unhappy with the results. Rob and Lauren also give a discount for veterans.

I called a one place and they wanted over 200 for just the barrel and receiver. If I took the gun apart. If I want the trigger housing it was another 60 to take it apart .

problem I've found is I can buy a good new (rem 870 for example) or used shotgun for the cost of having them dipped... I do like the look though, just too pricey for me
