just wanna wish a merry christmas to everybody here on this site and your familys ,all ice up here in new brunswick canada and no power for 2-5 days gonna have deep fried turkey for christmas have a good one everybody.

All~
A Merry Christmas to everyone here at duckboats. A weekend of warm rain took most of our snow and all of our ice away. The rivers are swollen and roaring along - so I passed up almost 40 "big ducks" (mostly Blacks) yesterday morning - because I could not be sure to drop any of them on terra firma.
Here is a local river as it was last week. The mercury has once again dropped - 8 here this morning - so we will likely get huntable conditions back soon.
We've got all the kids here - the first time in 2 years - and are looking forward to a fine day.
I hope all of you in the ice storm get relief soon.

well it was a cold but good christmas ,we got our power back 72 hours later thank GOD for family .Happy new Year
