Connecticut Waterfowlers Decoy Day

A couple members of this forum have asked me about the CWA Decoy Day. Well, it's planned again this year at Bozrah Rod and Gun Club in Lebanon for this Saturday, August 23. Information is posted on the Connecticut Waterfowlers web site. It will be the same as in years past, with an informal decoy carving contest, with gunning decoys judged by those who enter the competition, a swap and sell if you have any gear to get rid of, and a chance to meet other Connecticut hunters.

Unfortunately I will be on vacation in ME again this year. I would like to make one of these events someday. Hope everyone has a good time.

Looking forward to seeing everyone and I hope to bring some working decoys to sell or trade. Rich, still have not received the decoys from the auction. If they come before Sat. I will bring them. This is a great time to meet other decoy makers from the state and other waterfowl hunters.

I wish I could make it this year but it's my grandparents 60th anniversary and I should really be at that. Have a great time and take pictures for those of you that go.
