County Line 1038

I have been following them on IG and am very impressed with their design and construction. I think you are going to like it.

Love your camo job Blake!

Hands down the easiest camo job I have ever done. Bought a Ghillie Blanket (5' x9') from Ghillie Suits off Amazon for $99. Made 4 very simple and easy cuts in the blanket to allow the doors to open and then ziptied it to the grass straps which came already riveted on the boat. Literally had this blind on in under 30 minutes. The blind has enough openings to also allow me to attach some natural vegetation direct to the blanket or the grass straps if I so desire.

County line makes a slick rig!

Does the ghillie blanket feel pretty durable? That looks like the way to go vs. using raffia grass!

Yes durability is a concern of mine as well. However in my situation, I may never have to pull/tow it more than 2 miles one way to my hunting spot, then when in the water may never have to motor/puddle more than 1/2 mile. So I can get by with a cheap, simple to put on/remove, elastic cord cover for when tow it to my hunting spot. I dont have to travel down any main highways, only backroads to get to my hunting spot. I can also just leave it there as well if I so chose.

the County Lines are pretty popular here in Iowa; being as we are fairly close to the shop. One buddy has a 1448 with a 13 hp long tail on it and another buddy has a 1448 on order due in Aug. again, he is putting a 13 hp longtail on it. they hide well and go most anywhere that there is a little bit of water. you will like that 1038. you could put one of the PPF Woodduck 6.5 hp motors on it. they are light weight and would push that boat well

I already own an aluminum layout boat which I bought used probably 3 years ago from a guy who had it built down in Florida. If I didnt know better, it would be mistaken for the County Line 1038 so I have lots of experience with this exact same setup. They are fantastic-hide great and it does go anywhere I could possibly need it to go. I have a 50lb trolling motor, 6hp outboard, and a 6.5 longtail which all work great on it.
