County line Boats?

Anyone have one of these boats? Has anyone hunted out if one? I am interested in the 1448 I would like to hunt two guys and a dog from it in shallow water running a mud motor.

we have quite a few of them over here in Iowa being as we are fairly close to the Manufacturer. I have two buddies that have them both are 1448's with 13 hp longtails on them. the boats are well built. one buddy uses it as a laydown blind boat and the other has it set up with flip up sides for a "sit up" blind. IMHO, 2 guys and a dog would be "tight" but once all the decoys are out; it would be "doable"

I have a friend that has one and he loves it. I have seen some around hunting and all the owners I have spoken with have good things to say about them. I think the 14' x 48" would hunt 2 average size men alright.

I too have been looking into these boats as well. One thing that is stopping me is where I need to get to most of my spots, you have to go thru big, fast water. Not sure how it would handle the chop. Looking into more of the 10ft model

Yeah everyone's opinion on rough water is different. I need it to run two guys and a dog and run shallow. I looked into building a boat but I just don't have time until my littlest one is in school. I'm on the east coast not sure how available it is over here anyway.

I don't have a countryline boat, I have a 12' gatortrax layout boat that came with a 9hp longtail, I run it with a 16hp home built surface drive motor I built. It handles most waters just fine. It is not as wide as the Countryline but with the rounded chines you can stand on the gunnel and it stays almost flat without tipping the boat but may an inch or so!
