and since I had my camera out heres my new calls for MEEEEEEEEEEE! made myself a goose flute also. Been messin with them a lil bit and think I got ti figgered out now Sounds good and not like every other goose call you hear on the BIG RIVER lol. I cant blow a short reed so I compromised now.​

I made 2 other flutes before this one for practice before cutting up a 10" section of Bocote for mine.​

I stuck the other 2 on ebay. Gordy really is eyeballin them since they look more like sticks then the duck calls.​

heres a new style walnut. I think Im going to stick with this shape this year. I like it. Finished with Gunstock Oil also.​

Thats all I got besides a BAD BAD COLD right now ​

So what are you doing inside turning calls when you could be out on the river fishing??? Besides, your gonna have a tough time getting any air thru that Walnut one with that plug in the end of the barrel. Maybe that is the call I should use so I don't scare the ducks away half the time. hehe Nice geometric flow in the shape of your new call, I like it too.

P.S. I like the print and the decoy also. Outside of painting and photos, I've never seen a Merganser.
