OK, I think I've ironed out my glitches and had some pictures put on CD's. Still don't have a digital camera. I'm just using the Easy Share software that Kodak burns on the CD with the pics.
My duck season was pretty underwhelming. Not much time to hunt, living in central Ohio and increasing pressure on "my" little lake don't help!! At least I got out and the dog and I had fun.
The first pics are from the late season hunt I wrote about where I scouted everything out the evening before and then the lake rose overnight! It's a poor quality pic but where the dog is was high and dry the night before!
This lake is a flood control lake so it isn't a big surprise when it goes up and down. The following pics were taken after the duck season closed after an even higher water event. I was out with Muddy and my wife's Scottie Mulligan.
In the background you can see some red. These are some dogwood bushes where the next picture was taken. This is on a road that was abandoned when the lake was created.
This area is near the backwaters formed by a beaver pond on one the inlets streams to the lake. I did have one fun afternoon scaring woodcock with Muddy in these dogwoods.
