Ducks Unlimited Migration Map

On the ducks unlimited website the Migration map people post what the migration activity is in their area. Thing is, one person posts "Peak Migration" and right beside it somebody posts "No migration Few local birds". So whats the real story is the migration starting to come down with this cold weather??

This why local observations have no corrolation to population trends & the fall flight!!!
Heck, we can be hunting 1 mile apart, and one of is up to our necks in birds and the other is looking at empty skys.

I sure hope some birds come south, cause its really thin down here.

One possibly reliable indicator (if you can factor out sky-busting) is the amount of shots you hear fired over the course of the hunt.
