Eider chicks....

thats pretty cool...we saw a handful of drake eiders headed your way when we were out fishing the other day
 
Hey Nate Great pics. Have the Eiders always been nesting there or is this recent? The sure seem to be increasing there range. We see more and more every winter here in Montauk.

Saw them 2 weekends ago, sailed up from Salem and spent the night on one of the town moorings. They were swimming all around the boat, pretty neat.
