Folks

If you haven't heard Ramsey's latest podcast it is a very educational chat with population scientist Dr. Todd Arnold. I found it chalked full of interesting insights on the impact of harvest on waterfowl populations including shooting hens and other controversial things that waterfowlers have debated for decades. Well worth the listen.

One of duckboats.net long time contributing members will be a future guest and I look forward to what Brad Bortner has to say. I consume a fair number of podcasts and think Ramsey has been hutting it out of the park with his guests and content. If you haven't tuned in now is a great time to start.

Are We Killing Too Many Ducks?

Brad

I suspect you and Todd have worked together over the years, or at least crossed paths.
Yes we have overlapped in many professional situations. Todd has always been on the academic/research side of waterfowl, while I spent my career on the management side of things.

Ive been tuning in Ramsey"s podcast since you mentioned it on the forum a bit ago. Questions that have been bouncing around in my head get expertly answered. I appreciate his candor ,as a duck hunter, funded by hunting related advertisers to ask guests questions that may not further commerce through long liberal seasons.
