These boats were all custom built by my Great Grandfather Carl Adams from the early 1900's, thru Prohibition, WWI and until about 1970 first in Atlantic City NJ and later in Port Republic NJ. During WWII he built rescue boats for the Navy in Maryland. All were wood construction, one, the Nelly, was almost entirely of Mahogany. I love the history of the old boats which is why I feel it is so important for folks like Steven Sanford and Jode Hillman for finding and rescuing wooden boats. I hope you enjoy them as much as do!
