Replacing a few eyes on LL Bean mallard and black duck corks and am unsure what size and style to order. I'd appreciate any guidance.

I use 10 mm black eyes on gunning birds that have dark brown eyes: most larger puddlers and Brant.

I buy mine from McKenzie's Taxidermy Supply; they are made by VanDyke's:

Their dark brown is more accurate - but you'll only see the difference in hand.
I set the eyes in a water-based (Elmer's) wood filler so I can fair the filler with a wet brush before it cures.
