Few Long tails out there!

I really like Old Squaw too. I love how they are so vocal on the water and you can here them talking across the bay. They seem to be rather inquisitive. They land on slightly more gracefully than a Bufflehead. Both kind of just plop down on the water with a splash.

The hen around 2:40 that was swimming on her back while preening was pretty cool. But at 2:50 there was a very light colored OS. Was that a light colored female or was that an immature drake? I really liked the light color pattern.

Really cool birds, glad I was able to get my first one this year. I love when the drakes get up in that "high head" position and look around, seems like when you see them from a distance you just see the little white heads up above the waves. Nice video!
