hello everyone, its my first post and i have a question that maybe some of you could answer. i plan on buying a new boat this year and i have been looking at a barnaget type sneakbox and a 12 foot Schellinger. One is half the price as the other, does it really make that much of a difference both would fit the type of hunting i do, except for my trips to sea isle NJ. Im pretty sure the schellinger could handle the bay but could the barnaget?

Both can handle the area's around Sea Isle if you use your head. It really depends the conditions of the boats and if you want a planing hull or displacement. The BBSB has definate limitations as far as planing, but maybe more room for error in bad conditions.......................If possible take them both for a test ride. Then you'll know what suites your type of hunting.
