For those of you that remember.....

Yep, sat around eating cheese sandwiches while those two lesbians made out...can't remember who you were pointing the shotgun at.

You got a lot of gall Lee.....lesbians? Hell, you don't remember nothin' that was Sutton's aunt & uncle Jane & Paul(a).

Tim, you noticed that both those spike elk we in velvet, best eatin this side of a spotted fawn by gum!

An hour after I took these pic's it turned into a white out and by 10 am we had over a foot of snow and the powere went out. We finally got power restored at a little after 7 pm this evening. I hear the Cascades really got dumped on locally. Good, we need the snowpack.

Here is a little more recent shot of my son Spencer with a big fat spike from up behind the house last October, this one was real good eating.

Call me crazy Fred, but by far, I would rather shoot (and eat) a big fat spike like the one your son shot...........than any 6X6 bull. They can keep their B&C record bool animals..........I'll take a two year old deer or elk anyday. Mainly because in all these years I have never learned how to make antlers taste good.

Dave

Dave, I will admit that I do like big horns and antlers and at one time in my life that was all that mattered to me first ,,then the meat was second but as I get older I do like the meat of those younger animals, my other son Hunter and I have our advanced hunter education cards here so we get to hunt for cows from the first of August till the end of January here in the valley.

Until the day comes that I can get lucky here and draw a branched bull tag I'll be happy to fill my 2 cow tags a year the state gives us.
