I'm listing this boat and trailer (no motor) for a friend of mine that lives in MS. It's a Duckhunter 14' 7" built by Brad Taylor of Toller Boatworks in NC. Asking $2000. It cost around $5400 new! His cell phone number is below or you can reply or send me a PM if you just have questions and I can get answers for you.
Here are details and descriptions directly from him:
Things that I have done to it: Put new high-speed bearing & races on trailer, along with new seals. Put new tires on trailer, all new lights and wiring, and also converted the hitch over to a 2” instead of 1 7/8” ball because all my other trailers are 2”. Put in a 680 cold-cranking amp battery a few months ago, and I also have a new set of KC 3H long range halogen lights to go on the front – which I never installed but are new in box. Both battery and lights go w/ the boat.
1) Transom has had new wood installed, new aluminum plate (for outboard), and has been re-glassed. However, the glass still needs to be sanded down "smoothly".
2) Bow tip has also been re-glassed but again needs to be sanded smoothly, or like I was originally going to do - put a large rubber strip across it (for tying up to trees)
3) The thin strip of wood where the rear compartment door (where gas tank goes) hinges screw in is rotted. I replaced one side of the wood and that’s where I stopped.
4) The port side runner on bottom of boat has a bad spot in it about 12” inches long in it. That strip of wood needs to be nailed on then re-glassed over.
Best way to contact me is my cell 662-820-6423
