I have one of these that ran a couple of years ago and is in pretty good shape. Does anyone have an idea of what they are worth?

If I recall they were produced my Gale Products in Galesburg, Illinois.

Kevin, Don't plan on retiring on it, old outboards are not worth a whole lot. This is from a guy who has over 100 of them. The Antique Outboard Motor club may be a resource for you but they tend not to put a dollar amount on the motors. My advice is just run it and enjoy how things used to be. Also, always go upriver with it.;-)

Still have the Goodyear outboard? I just was given a Goodyear outboard, with the zippered canvas cover that went over the engine shroud. It's not running, but that is one of my next project, once this hot weather quits.
My motor has only forward gear, you have to turn the motor head 180 degrees to achieve reverse. I'm assuming that this motor is aircooled, is that correct?
The color is perfect for a duck boat, but my be way too loud for a trip across the marsh.
