Game Gun...thanks Dave, my wife thought I made another purchase on ebay and was giving me hell..I told her it was a gift from you and she said "So he just sent you a book cause he likes you?"...I reminded her how loveable I am but she wasn't buying it. Thanks Dave, read the first chapter at lunch and drooled over the pics.

Bwwwahahahahaha....and she fell for it?

Gee, thanks Dani, for the seven foot panfish rod...its sweeeeeet :) Oh, and I thought you said you had a Shimano Stradic for it? Oh your too damned kind :)

hmmmm yeah well my kindness exists on a few levels.....ummmmmm welll let's just say my kindness exists. somewhere.

I don't know if Kim will go for that excuse....or have you been using that one already? Gawd, she must think that I'm rich or something. I remember all the boxes of decoys and hunting gear getting delivered at the school. uh huh...they just magically appear in your shed that way. hah!

Lee, your wife is partly correct, I got a copy of that book on eBay and liked it so much I ordered two more copies. I sent you and Rick Ketcham each a copy and kept one for my library.

Glad you like it, I knew that if I enjoyed it that you might. It really get's into the step by step work that goes into building and finishing a fine double shotgun. Most all the photo's are from English Gun Makers shops.

I got a phone call from Sutton today, he said he recieved the book I sent him (American Wingshooter) by Williams. He said he liked the book, but wanted to know when I was going to give him a new TRUCK? Now there's gratatude for ya, hehehehehehe!

We were talking shotguns when he must have drove behind the Cascade Mountains....because his cell phone dropped off like a rock. Either that or he hung up on me when I told him I hadn't got him a new truck yet.

Anyway, enjoy the book.....lots of eye candy in it too.

Best,

Dave
