Had to position the dock today

The ole Mississippi River is doing it's spring thing and is on the rise a bit. Today was a good day to reposition the dock so it will be floating in the right location once the pool returns to normal. I had the opportunity to try out the new Kobuk neoprenes I bought back in the winter since the water temp is right around 40 degrees. I was in jeans, a pair of hunting socks, hoody over a T-shirt. I'm very happy in these. I felt no change in temp once I was in the water. I was in between my waist and chest and really like the felt lining in these.

Are those 2 poles all that holds it in place or do you use anchors as well?
Two poles and two tie outs. I'm in a slough that normally doesn't have much current. The poles will sink to about 4' into the bottom mud and will hold good. The walk way will also have spud poles. The tie outs are earth anchors set in concrete with ropes tied to the pontoon as a safety feature.
