That bird is cool. Never seen one like it. It reminds me just how much movement is going on in a big flock of divers on the water. Looks like a mass of feather and web foot leather.
 
Very cool I have never seen a decoy in that position before....it was worth the wait....can't wait to see a picture of it on the water....Dave
 
Bill,once the Shellac on the keel dries up I'll get an on the water pic.
It was a real treat to get floating level, never mind self righting!

(slide show) on the bottom of the page you can see the Canvasback that
inspired me. I didnt hit it dead on but I came close enough for my imagination.
Jeff was kind enough to e-mail me the picture for static viewing.
