This will hang from the ceiling as soon as I figure out how I'm gonna do it without having an ugly eye bolt sticking out
I'm not sure exactly how I'm gonna find the balance point. The intention is to hang at a slight angle both fore-aft and side-to-side, I have slipped string around it to kind of figure out but that isn't going to transfer too well from an attachment point above, since the string is gripping the underside in various places.
I'm thinking maybe just go big and put a 1" hole in the top approx near the balance point using a forstner bit. Then try to find an eye bolt with very aggressive threads, more like a drywall anchor thread. And basically hide the bolt down in that 1" hole. This way I can poke a nail in various places to find my balance point.
Anybody got some other ideas?
