Help with your PC

After clearing it with Eric, I thought I would post the link to my revamped PC help website. I've changed the format and made a few free tools available on the home page.

A lot of people bring their PCs to me thinking that the slow response times they encounter are due to broken components. More times than not they are simply in need of a tuneup (registry repair, defrag etc) for which I have added a free tool on the home page. I trust the tool, having used it many, many times.

Another significant way to improve response is by bumping up the RAM and I have included a link that will autotest your PC and tell you the correct memory type for your particular PC (also on the home page). It eliminates the guess work.

This is definitely a work in progress as I get time to play with it but I welcome your feedback and suggestions. Those of you with websites can send me the link and I would be happy to add it as I am currently just adding links that I think are interesting. A few of the links are affiliates that I hope some day will pay the hosting bill but until the traffic goes way up, I will be happy just to know someone saved a few buscks on repair bills

Thanks Scott, just downloaded everything to my wife's laptop and will do my other putes later. Did you get that pontoon blind out this season?

We did get it out and had a blast down at the Holly Rec area a few miles south of me.

A 12' pontoon boat is ideal with two guys and that 9.9 Honda pushes it along just fine (that motor is ultra reliable and QUIET by the way, thanks again) Three big guys, guns and gear takes the deck down close to the water but its still very huntable in that situation, plus this year's camo rig was Avery Grass all around so it was just about invisible when I pulled it up close to a shoreline or island. We were having a lot of luck with the Canadas that track back and forth between all of the lakes and corn down there.

It was a fun project cleaning that boat up and putting it all back together the way I wanted but I think I will be selling it and that BA trailer in the spring so that I can fund the next "to be named later" project. I don't think I will include the motor though, as I'd like to put that on 12' BBSB. I will also be in the market for some full body geese this fall as we now have permission on 2000 acres of corn up near Whittemore and the goose traffic up there was unbelievable. Literally hundreds in huge flocks moving from Saginaw Bay to the corn and back, one flock after another. Maybe we need to put you and the grandson under a sky full of birds so you can show him how to do it.
