Hey, when you are on a roll why stop? Yesterday my dealer friend Jerry had a gun that caught my eye. A two barrel set O/U in 20 ga. & 28 ga. with a nice case and a whole bunch of choke tubes. It's a Verona LX-702 Gold Competition model. I took two doubles with me for trading. One was an old 20 ga. double by N.R. Davis that I got about a year ago and the other was a 12 ga. double full side lock with good bores mase in Ohio in the 1920's that I had restored. I did a bit of horse tradding and here's what I came home with today.
30" barrles with screw-in chokes, auto-ejectors, single selective trigger.very nice wood with pistol grip palm swell. The case colors are really something and the gold inlayed grouse, pheasant ans woodcock look good in all the blue case hardening.
The gun came with 24 screw-in chokes, ten of them brande new in the package Briley's extended color-coded chokes that run $49.95 apiece! 3 factory choke tube wrenches and a brand new "speed wrench" for sporting clays.
These Brileys came with it, plus another 14 factory ckokes!
Judy and I shot all three guns this afternoon and they all worked great.
