Hey Hitch...

I hope you remembered to take your camera to Westlake...you have never disapointed us pictorially in the past

I don't think Hitch slept! I never once saw him NOT taking pictures. I think he was a little overwhelmed by everything he saw there.
He had fun and it was good to meet him. I'm sure he'll have some pics for everyone soon.

Yep, I'm home...luggage with $2K of camera gear didn't make it yet, but I'm home. It was nice to meet you Dwane and everyone else too.

It was awesome. It was so much fun, beyond words. And I have to look back through my notebook to tell you everyone from duckboats.net I met there, most of whom I have photos of. Meeting the guys from the site was the best part. Being able to put faces to the names was great and Ky was a trip. He is so much fun to be around. Thanks Ky for your hospitality.

I have about 3500 photos to go through, and I’ll get a few posted up tonight. I have thousands of decoy photos too, so stay tuned.

Hitch it was good to meet you. You didn't however get any pics of me, although I did get to "handle" your camera ;-)

See ya next time!!

Brad Forgey from Spokane stopped in the lumberyard this morning on his way back home from Westlake. I wish I could have made it over as it is a great time. Nitromag got tossed in the pool? Way ta go buddy!

Wow! For 3 days and 2 nights, that's about a picture a minute. Hardly leaves time for the rest of the fun.

Thanks
Chuck

Oh, he had fun. We got him one of those hats with the cup holders and the sippy straw. He was able to snap and sip at the same time.

Yep,

Rapid fire...

It gave me a chance to make it around to see as much as possible, and meet as many of those who attended as possible. Ky kept me busy guiding me around to all the displays and people. It was a fast a fun weekend, and everyone was so nice. It was by far one of the most fun and busy weekends I can remember. More photos soon.

Hitch,

Waiting to see your pictures also. I've wanted to go to that show for a long time. I did get the go ahead for next year since we were in Mexico this year. I also got that in writing. It'll be interesting to see if that pans out...;-)

Hitch:
Great to meet 'cha!!!

It looked like he was having a great time, although the camera was sticking outta his eye most of the time! I told him to be carefull taking pics of some of the guys..........because they had told their wives that they were going to Las Vegas for the weekend. They'd be in big trouble if it was found out they were cavorting with decoy carvers!!!!! LOL

I'll tell ya...keeping up with Ky, even though his legs are about half as long as mine, wears me out. That dude always has 30 deals going on the side and is organizing stuff and is up and down the stairs and talking to everyone and introducing everyone to everyone else. The show wouldn't be the same without him.

Hitch it was great to meet you. We had a great weekend as always. Great to see everyone else. Congrats to Kelly and Nitromag. HHG

Ky is a great guy and fun to be around. And it's true about the show not being the same. His auction went off with perfection and he even had Team Guiette watching how to run a decoy auction :) Not kiddin'...Mr Guiette and his people watched the whole thing.
