Yup, I'm turning the big 39....oh wait, that was a long time ago....I learned that from Jack Benny. And...if anybody asks who Jack Benny is....I may have to hurt them.

Ya know, it's always nice to be younger than somebody. I used to be younger than a lot of people a long time ago.
Well, we're probably related then. Only need 3 degrees of separation to be connected to pretty much anybody...or at least to Kevin Bacon anyhow. ;)

I'm German, Irish, English, French, Swedish & Polish. My Mom was the Swedish & Polish...I used to call her a "halfbreed"....which, of course, got a rise out of Mom and that was my intention. So, I'm the oldest of 8. There is 20 years between my youngest kid brother and myself. I always wanted to be an only-child. ;) Though, I guess it's not all that bad. With a large family, you have all your friends and enemies in one little circle. ;) I don't know how we did it with only ONE bathroom. Whew! Can't even imagine that now. We have 3 at home now and sometimes that's not enough.

You got that right. Family gatherings are a ton of fun. In fact, we just put my Mom (81 yrs old) into a new assisted living facility (great place, she has her own apartment) and have been working at getting the house cleared out, cleaned up an painted. It was truly a "family affair" getting all of us working on various weekends to get it ready. Lot of fun and now the place is on the market.
Family just "makes things work".

Excellent. I truly enjoyed jawing and having a drink with you this year at WL.
BTW, if you want to come up north here to Michigan for some hunting...........come on up. We can stay right at the lake house (on Lake St. Clair) and do some puddle duckin' or diver duckin'....maybe some scullin' too.
Oh.....keep the photos coming. Way too cool.
